Edward Hepp He was a disc jockey who lived and worked in several locations until returning to Portland 30 years ago. He was best known for his airwork at KRUX in Phoenix AZ in 1965, being one of the original "Big 610 Men" when KFRC in San Francisco CA went Top 40 in February 1966, and being one of the original lineup at "underground" KPPC AM & FM in Pasadena CA in January 1968. His airname at all stations was "Ed Mitchell" or sometimes "The Mighty Ed Mitchell." In 1974, he married Dora-Jeanne Cook; she died in 1986. |
