Hearst Castle architect JULIA MORGAN designed this transmitter/studio building for 1260/KYA in Bayview Park above Candlestick Point in San Francisco, constructed in 1937.Red neon letters "K Y A" originally were above the front door, and can be seen in this photo.
The KYA calls are currently used by internet oldies channel
