KRUX's NORM SEELEY (1966)

In early 1966, NORM SEELEY was moved into the 9-Noon slot on KRUX/1360 (Glendale/Phoenix AZ) replacing Al McCoy. SEELEY had been the 7-Midnight air talent.

Seeley and our senior advisor, Bill Earl, corresponded back in 1990 when Bill had written "When Radio Was Boss" and intended to include Seeley in a Volume 2.

Norm loaned Bill a stack of KRUX folders for Bill's research and Bill tells us he has never forgotten the generosity and graciousness of Norm Seeley at that time.

Seeley also is a friend of Shari Davison one of Bill's KPCS jock mates from 1969 and 1970, who Bill had a HUGE CRUSH on back then.

Bill's parents took Bill, at age 15, to MEET Seeley at the KRUX studios on Camelback road at the beginning of his 9-Noon shift in April 1966.

Bill & Shari STILL chat on the phone occassionally, but have evolved into as Simon & Garfunkel once called "old friends."
